The Concordia Student Broadcasting Corporation is an umbrella organization that oversees the governance of CJLO 1690 AM, Concordia University Radio.
The Directors

Brian Joseph / Community Seat. Brian started in Campus radio when he was 17 on John Abbott’s CSKY Radio. After graduating CEGEP, he went into Communications Studies at Concordia University, where in 2004, he started hosting a weekly Hip Hop show on CJLO titled Phantastiq Cypha. Brian would go on to become the Hip Hip Music Director for CJLO and win Special Music Director of the year in 2009. He has represented CJLO at festivals in New York, Toronto, Australia and Zurich. Currently he runs the site FranklinArmstrong.com, which is a hub for geek & pop culture podcasts. Term ending: 2020
Me. Patrice Blais / Faculty Seat. Term ending: 2019
Genaro Pena Cruz / CJLO Seat Genaro PC has been active at CJLO 1690 AM since 2016. Aside from radio broadcasting, He also has experience in writing, managing blogs and business planning. An advocate for exposing underground culture, he values the idea of expansion for the long-term planning of CJLO. His key interests include content development, external partnerships and community engagement. Term ending: 2019
Angelica Calcagnile / CJLO Student Seat. Angelica has been a member of CJLO 1690AM since 2001, and has contributed to the station in many capacities. Her background is in design and marketing, and her focus on the board is accountability to students, fiscal responsibility, and sustainability with regards to CJLO's future growth in the local community and beyond. Term ending: 2020
Stuart Thiel / Student Seat Stuart Thiel brings a consultative, problem-solving perspective to the board. A Professional Engineer, he values ordered balanced and transparent solutions. He has a history of working with community organizations across Quebec and has developed custom web-radio software and hardware solutions for small community broadcasters. Term ending: 2019
Omar Husain / CJLO Seat. Omar has been a long-time active member at CJLO, hosting "Hooked on Sonics" and formerly sat on the executive body as the Head Music Director up until early 2018. He has extensive management and financial experience and has been in private practice as an accountant and management consultant helping local small businesses, not-for-profits, and self employed individuals & artists sustain and grow their businesses.Term ending: 2020
